Remus or Agency Power

Anyone had a chance to compare the Remus with the Agency Power yet? I am looking at upgrading my exhaust soon and like everyone struggle with the decision.

I was curious if anyone has had a chance to hear both in person back to back?
I have listened to several videos of each; but I know the sound coming out of my laptop speakers, recorded on a $500 recorder, and compressed on youtube is not going to do it justice.

I also think the Borla is interesting but thought it might not sound as exotic.

I was in the same place as you and decided to take a chance on the Remus based on the youtube recordings since it was extremely unlikely that I would ever come across anyone in the flesh with a Remus. It also did not hurt that Remus is one of the largest manufacturer of after market exhaust systems in the world. If you haven't already done so, be sure to read ALL the posts about Agency Power.

What I can tell you so far is that the Remus arrived very well packed with no damage and is an exact fit with perfect alignment. With respect to installation, it was a very easy one person operation. It was more trouble and took longer to get the stock exhaust off and I did not even have any header bolt problems...the Remus is just that easy.

So how does it sound? Don't know yet. Car is not registered and (I know everybody is going to jump all over this) I don't want to just start it in the garage without being able to really run on the road to operating temps. I'll post again after first run.

I never really considered getting the Remus. It may just be me but the YouTube videos of the Remus might not be doing it justice. It reminds me too much of a Subaru. I don't hate the sound but I don't think it's very "exotic," which is what you're looking for.

I think you should go with APE, I wouldn't have gone any different if I had to do it all over again even if I had an extra $2k laying around to spend on more costly Cayman exhausts. I just LOVE the sound, and think it's perfect. Still a distinctive Porsche sound akin to the GT3 and RSR older siblings. Don't quote me on this but I think if you don't like it within 2 weeks you can return it. But I can guarantee you won't want to!

Go with the Remus, I went the the AP and have been dissatisfied ever since. It has signifiant drone and the manufacture provides the worst customer service.
