I'm planning on buying a 2013 Boxster in Wilmont Ill I would like a reputable Dealer to look it over and read the computer (PPI)? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Congratulations! Besides the PPI check be sure to check out the door panels closely for any warping. The headlights are also prone to delamination. Luckily I haven't had either happen to my 2015 Cayman. Go for a drive. Perform a checkout of systems to make sure everything seems to work. Power roof, PDK if equipped, AC, heated seats, spoiler buttons, radio, navigation, etc. Make sure the tool kit is up front. Make sure the wheel lock socket is in there if equipped. Check tires and brakes for wear and negotiate replacements if needed. Hopefully you get two keys. A replacement costs around $500 at the dealer. Good luck and enjoy!

And I don't know of any local shops for the PPI. I'd recommend the closest Porsche dealer.

The dealer in CA would not hold the car for me unless I gave him a $10K cashier's check and signed paperwork in advance. Even with my bank emailing them my loan paperwork and me willing to give them $1K to hold it along with emailing them my flight ticket to CA.

Ah so I take it, that deals off? Where in CA was this car? What state is Wilmont in?

Yeah it's off. It was in Menlo Park and Wilmont is in IL near chicago

Ah ok Bay Area, I was gonna say if it was close to me I could look at it. I would google porsche ppi near chicago or milwakee then

Napelton Westmont Porsche in Westmont, Il. I don't know how far that is from Wilmont (couldn't find it on Google Map). But very involved in high performance Porsches.

I'm no fan of the big Porsche dealers like Napleton. I like Barnaba, out in the western suburbs. Cheaper, much easier to work with. I don't know where Wilmont is so don't know if its convenient.
I'm in Chicagoland; for a six-pack I'll test it for you.
