Yeah the stock navigation in my 14 cayman sucks compared to the phone. I have done a few experiments using it. Well it’s gotten me close to where I want to go, but not the whole way. I just use my phone for nav and music, podcasts, Sirius etc wired through the glove box. I have CarPlay in my daily and it’s great, but when I drive the cayman I don’t feel that I need it.

I have CarPlay head units in my other cars and completely agree with you. It is great. But my cayman is a weekend spirited run car. Just don’t really need it, more of a nice to have. Maybe some day.
