Good Morning Folks,

Im currently looking to purchase a Porsche Panamera 2012-2016. I will be a first time Porsche owner and wanted to know if there are some all around maintenance/issues/problems that I should look for before buying? Im in New Jersey and I currently have a 2017 Jaguar XE and a 2018 Range Rover Velar. Ive heard things about making sure the PDK doesn't have issues but I would like to hear from you guys. Much appreciated.

I just picked up a 2016 Panamera S e-Hybrid with 13k mikes in it. I don’t usually do this, but went specifically with a CPO offering. The car will be covered through 2022 which brings some peace of mind. Amazing deals on pre-2017 models.

I do have an immediate issue with what sounds like an exhaust/mechanical ‘thrumming’ noise in the right rear of the car at low rpm when not under electric power that is getting investigated by the dealer.

I’m sure you’ll get lots of feedback on longer-term maintenance issues. I think the cars are pretty solid but when it’s this expensive to have any works done, the CPO makes a difference.

Enjoy your new car in good health, and with the peace of mind the warranty brings. Good luck, and please report back regarding the diagnosis and repair.
