Yesterday, I was driving my Boxster S (2015) and I tried to make a phone call using Bluetooth. Got a message that said something like: "Searching for signal". This message appeared on the PCM screen. (There were no "bars" on the little indicator on the screen) I didn't know that my I phone had a SIM card! Went to Verizon wireless store and they replaced the SIM card in my I phone 5. "Fourth SIM card failure today", I was told. They replaced the card and all is well again with the car blue tooth. The SIM card only affects the telephone service of the I Phone. Thought I would mention this so no one thinks it is a car problem if this happens.
