I was thinking of your “wheel project” and how these may fit the bill. Even with rubber removed I’m guessing ~$50+ per rim to ship [emoji2369]

I am working at the archeological site today but either Saturday or Monday I’ll see if I can get an estimate on shipping weight for just the rims. In fact I may go ahead and unmount the tires. When I bought the tires/rims here on P9 years ago, FedEx freight shipped them for a really affordable rate. But things have certainly changed since then. Let me see what I can find out about rates without the rubber. I could agree to split shipping costs with the purchaser too.

FWIW, I shipped 19" rims and mounted tires via UPS earlier this year. Trying to remember where they shipped to, but shipping alone cost roughly $100 for each wheel. Hope that helps.

FYI - I have these 987 Cayman wheels on my 987.2 Boxster and love them. Easy to clean too per the wide gaps.

I have always thought these were the best rims on the Cayman especially when you accelerate from stop to “go.” They do beautiful things to the look of acceleration.

I have unmounted the tires and will split shipping costs with the purchaser. Here is an estimate on shipping them from my home in south Texas to the East Coast and to the northwest Coast. I did a rough estimate using UPS Ground of 30lbs per boxed wheel based on 22lbs front, 24lbs rear + box and packing. If my estimate is accurate, it could be less than that for the front rims. From Victoria, TX to NYC - the ground estimate was $74 per boxed rim; and an estimate from Victoria, TX to Seattle was $87 per rim. Again, I’ll split shipping costs and will get a firmer estimate when I have a location for the purchaser.
