From that description it sounds like the guy is right. ...... pasm hardening and psm relaxing is boundaries.

This is a far cry from removing all the safety measures and pretty sure the only way that is happening is if you manually override traction control. Heck, even then you still have antilock brakes. I'm pretty sure PSM will still save you from anything but the most lurid of actions unless you've turned off settings beyond just hitting the Sport Plus button.
