Just a reminder about the event April 18th.
I went to the Supercar Sunday last weekend. Awesome!
Saw a lot of Lotus friends, and a tremendous turn-out for Porsches!
The featured car was Lamborghini.
When it's Porsches turn, the entire parking lot will be filled!

Any more takers for the show and the drive??

Epilogue

The car show was automobile spectacular! Beautiful cars. I enjoyed the
antiques, a jag coupe from the '50's, early 60' stingrays, and three
Mercedes Gullwings from the '50's. More than a hundred cars.

Our weather was perfect as usual...sunny and mid-seventies. We saw a lot of
classics and exotics on the road too! We had fun on Latigo Canyon (WOW WHAT A RIDE!!) and a nice lunch at Ladyface Micro-Brewery. Our intrepid group consisted three Caymans and two Miatas.

Is anyone interest in continuing the drives?

The Ventura County events for Ventura residents events last half a day
(including driving to and from).

Unfortunately, it seems that is not working... I'll blame it on the
recession. Everyone blames the recession anyway. Most people flaked.:(

Any responses?

It was great to meet you, Selvin!

Thanks again for organizing the ride Hal. Good finally meeting You & Terry and the Miata crew.

There was a nice showing of caymans this weekend. The most I've seen in a while for sure. We need a few more from the board to make an appearance. A line of caymans even 3 deep is a beautiful thing :burnout:

With the exception of a handfull of cyclists, the route was nice and clear. Usually I'm stuck behind an old pickup truck or a prius. One of the best parts of the drive was seeing a classic gull-wing whipping around a corner on latigo.

Look forward to the next drive. I'm in the west valley so just drop me a line.

Re: Supercar Sunday

Would like to take a visiting friend to Supercar this Sunday, but I have never attended SS before.. What time would be a good time to arrive?

I usually go to Cars & Coffee in Irvine and that one starts early 6-6:30 but its very close to my house, however SS is at least an hour away...
