After the car is warmed up, when I blip the throttle from idle, it feels like the car is shaking. If I blip past 2k rpm, its fine, but short of that, I got this rocking sensation. I don't know much about the balance dynamics of a flat six,

my prior experience is with inline 6s, and the only time the car would give a shaking feeling is when one of the cylinders would misfire and throw the balance off.

Is this normal? Someone tell me I'm paranoid.

Oh, and I absolutely love my Cayman S.

thanks.

This is normal. They have a name for the 'shaking' feeling you are feeling but I can't remember the technical term. 3.4 liters of engine coming to life is going to make the chassis twist a little and shake. Completely normal. Big V-8 Hot rods will actually cause the car to lean to one side.
