I picked up a nail in the right rear that is fixable (not near shoulder). Where is a recommended place to go for repair. I usually deal with Hawaiian Tire for my Miata but was wondering if there is a Porsche-preferred shop that everyone uses.

I just plug it myself. Get a tire repair kit from Walmart, remove the nail/screw, ream the hole, then install the plug with adhesive, fill with air.

Any tire shop would do... It's not a Bugatti! Don't lose sleep over it.

Thanks guys, no sleep lost, just annoyed by the inconvenience. Since these are street use only I will just plug it myself. My plug kit is like 15 years old so I guess it is time for a new one.

I would not trust just a plug. If you want you can plug it to get the car moving, but I would patch the wheel from inside, and have it rebalanced. Porsche recommends to change the tire. I think that is an exageration for street service, even fast driving on the street.

Think about it, your tires is what keeps your car on the street, I would feel more secure with a patched tire.
