I've been running 235/45 18 and 265/45 18 which is the factory size tyre for an 18" wheel for several years in the RE71R, but those are no longer available. I tried something else in a 245/40 275/40 setup and it lowered the car quite a bit (.3" in the front and .36 in the back, on X73 that had me hitting in one point and made it impossible to get my lift or jack under the car without first putting it on a wood plank). Now of course you can't get RE71Rs so I was going to try A052's which are available in that size, but they've been out of stock on the fronts since September. Unfortunately it doesn't look like anyone is making anything appropriate in this size any longer, and even most of the next size seem out of stock.
