Anyone know what the proper torque is for the bolts on the two undercarriage aluminum V braces you have to drop to remove the transmission cover pan? I can't seem to find them in either the 101 Projects book or a forum/google search.

Ok, now I just checked another source that I trust, and it says 48ft-lbs to the body (for 987.1) or 81ft-lbs to the body for 987.2. The bolts to the suspension carrier are 48ft-lbs for both models.

This sounds more reasonable, 118ft-lbs seems high for this application.

48lbs sounds like a winner to me.

I'd encourage you to edit your previous post least google or another user see that and not read further.

Thank you for looking it up though! What was your source?

48 ft-lbs is correct per my service manual.
