The engines on the 987.1 and 987.2 are different and use a different number of idlers and different belts. I think you should clarify which engine/year 987 (and I suspect 997's) this actually fits.

This will fit all 996, 997, 986 and 987 up to Year 2008. Any of these models, 2008 and earlier, can use this kit.
