Anyone have pics of a GT4(or a 981) with the US rear plate bezel removed? It looks awful and I am just curious as to why Porsche would even have it on there mucking up the butt

T-Design did a mod (filling holes noted in my pics) and redoing r bumper. Not cheap. Good pics etc. Search herein or Google it with planet-9 in topic.

No info as to how GT4 looks underneath but I will bet the same. My EGuess is bumper is made (drilled) to accommodate various licene plate needs worldwide.

Hopefully I don't get beaten with a broom for reviving this thread, but it was one of the top hits on google, so I'm doing it anyway.

I just took delivery of my GT4 and I currently live in Germany. I wasn't aware of the stupid moding that's on there, and of course brought my long plates with me. I can get short plates, and will be looking into that tomorrow, however, I'm also going to see what it takes to remove the molding and hopefully see what's underneath without permanently leaving any holes.

I'll report back here when I have an update.
