I've been using my iPhone with the Gateway 500 lite since spring and have been very satisfied. The other day I switched to an android phone, a Galaxy Note 8. I didn't think about the compatibility with the Dension unit but it doesn't seem to be working. When I plug it into the usb port of the Dension the phone cycles like I'm connecting and disconnecting it over and over.
I've contacted Dension but haven't heard anything back yet.

Any thoughts?

Well after working with the friendly folks at Dension it has been determined that the Gateway will not work with my Galaxy Note 8. So I pulled it out and will be selling the unit. If interested I'll list it in the classifieds section

Hm... but did they say will it work with other Android phones besides Note 8?

Just curious and I got Gateway 500 lite installed and will find out tomorrow if it work with my iPhone
