Hi,

I'm wondering if a set of wheels/tires from a 2010 Cayman would fit my car (2014 Cayman S)?

Should be fine; only smaller and shorter than what an S comes with

I use 987 wheels with these width/offset as track wheels for my 981 BS. Fits just fine. With 40-profile tires on 18's, you'll ride about 1/2" lower to the ground and your speedo will be off a bit, but neither of those is a significant concern; and personally, I like the lower ride. If you want OEM diameters, you would need to go to 45-profile.

I bought a new 981 Cayman with 18” wheels, but liked the look of the 987 wheels better. I switched my original tires (45-profile) to the 18” 987 wheels and am very pleased with the results. Of course, I first verified that the backspacing would work and that there would be no rubbing. Everything fits perfectly.

These are the exact same wheels I use on the track.

Yup, that was another reason for the switch. Also, they kinda have a Fuchs old-school look. And a friend pointed out that they’re similar to the wheels on the new 992.
