I have a question about the hole in a wheel rim to accommodate TPMS versus those that do not. I do not have TPMS (nor do I want to at this point) but I will be getting rims that can accommodate them. Do I need special valve stems? I believe the holes in the rim are larger. Can someone confirm?

Thanks!

The Porsche TPMS system (mfg by BERU) uses standard sized holes in the rim. You can put the transmitters into any wheel that will fit on your car. You can remove them and put in standard valve stems at any time.
