Seems to me like a ton of you guys have never posted pictures of your 981 on here, evidenced by the lack of 981 photos. What are you waiting for??? Please post your 981 porn. It will help me and all of your fellow comrades as we wait the long wait for our 981 to arrive.

K-Man, I know, I know, there's a "Cayman & Boxster Pictures & Video" thread, but it's filled mostly with non 981 cars and I only care about the 981. Let's get a 981 picture thread going and I think this is the only place it can start!

Thank you thank you. I'm thinking about replacing the green/yellow with That metallic mustard yellow bmw makes, and then putting on some gold bbs Xr's on it

You know that background gave me a wrap suggestion for you. What if you were to keep that gorgeous red and then actually wrap a kabuki onto the car. I personally think you could easily make that look sick but I get that it wouldn't be for everyone. You could do an oni as well seeing as how the car is already red. Idk why but anything Japanese whether it's traditional mythological creatures or even modern day anime goes great with porsches.

that would be cool but a little too extreme for me. haha. it definitely would make it stand out.

Wheels are not 981 OE. Look like 986 sport classic wheels. Are they 18”?

If they are, 986 doesn’t have TPMS so the sensors were never fitted.

They do look good though!

That's right - you've got a keen eye! Those are my surplus track rims from my previous 986, they're actually the 7,5/10x18 inch 993 version. Time was a bit scarce so I decided to use them as track wheels for now. They're a bit weak due to the high side walls so I'm planning on getting a set of Apex 9/11x19 wheels for track use. Problem is finding suitable rubber, at least here in Europe. We don't get Nitto's and some other of your preferred tires over here.

Road wheels are Carrera 20 inch.

Regarding TPMS, my car is one of the very few Euro 981C that didn't get it. I think it's been required in the US for longer than it has over here, think it was made mandatory in 2014 and my car is manufactured in 2013. Almost everybody chose the option to fit it regardless - except for the person speccing mine, that is. 🙄
