Seems to me like a ton of you guys have never posted pictures of your 981 on here, evidenced by the lack of 981 photos. What are you waiting for??? Please post your 981 porn. It will help me and all of your fellow comrades as we wait the long wait for our 981 to arrive.

K-Man, I know, I know, there's a "Cayman & Boxster Pictures & Video" thread, but it's filled mostly with non 981 cars and I only care about the 981. Let's get a 981 picture thread going and I think this is the only place it can start!

To upload pictures to our Gallery please see this tutorial video:

I'm coming from a base PDK 718 Boxster (which I loved), but I just felt like I wanted something a little more special. And, boy does this not disappoint.

But, most importantly it's a manual! :)

(Don't mind the dangling radar detector cable. It's being hardwired in next week!)

Congrats on the find with amazing color. Car looks great. Carmine red was my top color but nearly impossible to find. I recently just picked up a white S.
Took this picture today off NC 181. Fun drive unless you get behind a Wisconsin plated RAV4 doing 30 mph and less.

Much appreciated @Vegas981

We got fogged in yesterday morning so I couldn't resist going back...

Got a few at sunset after an evening drive with some friends... The rollers were taken by my buddy Elie.

I unfortunately had to stick around and couldn't head out with them on the way home. The sun was just about perfect on River Road...

Thanks!
@Phat Hippy
Wow, where is that? Looks like the perfect place to stretch it's legs. No top down?

@Kevin CS
What headlight kit did you use? I like how it's subtle enough to make the headlights match the wheels and takes the chrome down a notch. Normally I'm not big on tinted headlights but you have me questioning trying it myself.

I didn't do that myself; the shop that did the wrap also tinted the headlights (plus the side markers and taillights) for me.

That picture was taken at one of the turn offs on the Mt. Washington Auto Road. I think around June of 2021. The day we were there it was around 70f at the bottom and around 42f at the top. The winds were around 70 mph. There were a lot of pissed off bikers at the bottom because they shut them off due to wind. The last word of advice I got from the Ranger was to hold on to your door because the wind has a tendency to fold them open! He didn't want anything bad to happen to such a nice car. Good guy. Where we took the picture, I had to face the wind and barely got my door open to help the wife out. She couldn't even open hers. Great trip to New Hampshire and drove home in torrential down pour. So glad I got rid of the bike!

Thought that looked familiar - I've been up that road several times back when I lived on the East Coast. Good times!
