Ok I have found a place to make window stickers and I either need to buy 100, 250 or 500, buying 500 is the most economical in terms of cost per unit, but given the overall costs I'm not going to be able to send these out to people free of charge. In other words what I will need for members to do is send me a self addressed stamped envelope and I will put a decal into it and send it back to you, no charge for the decal. I don't have a final proof back from the printer yet, I should in the next few days, but I've attached a close approximation of the window decal. Please let me know if you want one (no need to send envelope yet), I'm just trying to judge interest.
Thanks in advance!

These are inside of glass stickers that stick with an adhesive, if you are familiar with the PCA stickers, just like those. Yes we will ship to Boxster households, or any household that sends a self addressed stamped envelope, we will also be including these with future Cayman Club memberships (more on that with later announcements) so I'm just trying to figure out how many to make in the initial run. I can eat the cost for an initial sticker but can't foot the bill for postage all over everywhere. :)

Depends... What will the design look like?

Generally I don't put stickers on my cars, but if it's particularly cool or interesting I may put something on there.

Edit: sorry, the pic didn't load for me initially. I see it's the same logo as your avatar. No thanks, I don't think those colors would look right on a black car.

Yeah. Depends greatly on the design. I usually don't put stickers on my cars, but if it's nice and small - I might. But it'll have to be just one line and in black...

What address do we send the self addressed stamped envelope to? What will the dimensions of the sticker be? I want to ensure that my self address envelope is big enough.

Strangely, the choices aren't mutually exclusive.

  • "Yes I want at least 1" (means one or more)
  • "Yes Please! More than 1" (means two or more)

In a Venn diagram, the sets would overlap. And the total count of stickers based on responses is meaningless.

Easier said than done when the nearest USPS station is over 4 hours away, to get a USPS stamp for the envelope. Suggestions/offers anybody? :gossip:

I'm assuming the issue is the return postage from KMan.
You don't need to be in the US or at a USPS facility to buy stamps. You can use the USPS web site to compute the fee, buy the pre-paid sticker, and print it. Should work from anywhere. One ounce is the least you can buy for 1st class. That should be way more than a few small stickers would weigh.

Maybe Stamps.com can also do international.

BTW, you can print the prepaid label on plain paper then glue or tape it to the return envelope.

I would like 2. One for each side of my car. Thanks!

I absolutely love the idea of this... probably moreso if it were more Boxster inclusive. Or model neutral and more site related.

Just my two cents.
