Re: The Worst Review of any Porsche I've read

I love beef, don't get me wrong, but we tend to eat a lot more meat in North America than elsewhere in the world. Raising animals for food occupies a larger environmental footprint than growing vegetables and fruits. It's not alarmist per say to calculate the difference and the potential benefit for the environment, nor to report the results. Many biases can influence one's point of view, including our love for meat!

This is why they can charge $550 for red seatbelts and people buy them. Its what they market will bear. But SUVs are appliances. Different kind of car.

A Porsche mecanic I know at a local dealer calls Porsche SUVs the disposable Porsches. Lol.

Here is the Evo 718 review updated. They gave the Cayman 4 stars, but I think this is kind of an average for the non S and S versions (not certain). While they like many things about the new car, they still aren't overjoyed with the 4-pot.

I just thought some people would be interested in the update of the EVO review. Why all the concern about this post if we stick to the topic? There are plenty of other posts to make you feel good about your point of view if you don't like the information posted here.

Actually, EVO have again updated their review. The review seems to get more negative each time. In reading the latest review, a 981 owner (me!) may wonder what would bring an 'upgrade' to a 718; minor performance improvement for a major loss in engine character. Check it out here. Don't flame me please, it's genuinely how I interpret the latest review. Me think it's time that I go test drive a 718S to make up my own mind. But EVO sure are disappointed with the new car.
