Why not have a wheel guy just paint them ?
Should cost you around 500 bucks or have them powder coated ?

I had my 991 one wheels powder coated satin black and while I was happy with the look, I have doubts about whether it affects structural integrity. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but shortly after one of my wheels bent and it was never the same after. Reading different posts on the webs, seems to be a common theme.

I don't mind mind painting it but thought it would be easier to just swap with someone who already has factory platinum wheels. I think I tried to find the paint code for platinum and had some trouble.

I have the platinum wheels and just had minor scuffs repaired problem is the wheels don’t match.
I have two wheels that are darker than the others.
It’s easier to repaint rather than power coat.
Having OCD it bothers me when I clean the car so I plan on having all the wheels painted matte black.
Will look good on my Guards Red 981
Would really like to have GT4 wheels but not willing to spend money on new wheels and bigger tires.
Seeing how my car is a CPO and has 4 new sneakers on it already.

Ah man those wheels do look diff but the front wheels look so nice. I am not a fan of black wheels now, just tooo dark for my taste. I really don't want to pay 3-5K for wheels/tires...it's such a cosmetic thing and I have other things I need to do...like redoing PPF, buying a laser jammer..etc

Here is the official paint code for the Porsche Platinum Satin wheels if you do decide to paint instead of swap, or for anyone else that might be looking to paint.
