Hi

I had installed the X51 intake to Cayman, and found out that the engine cover cant be close.

Do I need another engine cover to fit with the X51 intake?

Struct King clear cover can fit right?

Thanks

That sounds about right.
A member here has already done all this. Do a search to find more details etc.
BTW, without custom software do you know the engine will run bad?

Hi azect,

Do you have any recommendation of reliable & reputable Porsche mod shop in HK? What kind of mods do you have? What is the benefit of X51 intake? My car is bone stock and I am considering performance mod. Thanks.

I dont think it gives any gain over the SRP and is a lot more trouble to implement.

I like your TechArt LED DRL. Can you post more pictures? Have you done any LED to your taillights too?

I have to the HIP design cover and I love it! It does allow more noise to enter the cabin and over long drives, this can be annoying. I believe I read when compared to other aftermarket covers such as Strut or Tess's cover, the noise level is slightly higher.

As for clearance, it does have more clearance but it depends on how much more you need. If the original cover barely fits, than the HIP should work just fine.

Good luck!

If you do a search another member has already done the x51 intake and used a clear cover to get the clearance needed

The shop that I am using to mod my car is KK Motor. They installed 2 Cayman with Turbo, and a dealer of Softronics in Hong Kong.
They are quite good. Please let me know if you need their contact.

Hi Azect,

Kindly please direct me KK Motor contact. Other than as a softronic dealer, what other products do they carry? Do you know if KK Motor carries Capristo Exhaust? Thanks in advance.
