Has anyone found any sort of organizer/container/net/divider or other gadget to hold stuff securely in the Boxster trunk? I have all sorts of junk sliding around in there. :drivingskid:

I couldn't find a net on either the Porsche or Suncoast websites.

I have a small, soft nylon storage unit with four dividers in it. All the small stuff goes in there and never moves around. It was less than $10.

The trunk should not be a substitute handbag. :hilarious:

You girls.....

I was thinking the same thing but you were much more eloquent than I would have been! lol

KCZ - BTW, what ever came of your coolant issue?

LOL, one of the first things I bought after the car (besides sunscreen) was a teeny, tiny purse that fit between the seats. However, due to the disappearing coolant saga, I now have 2 gallon jugs of distilled water rolling around in the trunk. After my most recent weekly shopping trip, they caromed off a bottle of tequila and squashed a grocery bag containing grapes and cheese danish. Allowing this situation to continue can only end badly. Hence, my desperate need for some sort of organizing device.

LOL! I hope the danish are good where you are. Haven't been able to get good ones since I moved to the Bay Area from Jersey. I doubt that a pressing between gallon jugs of water would improve them. Very sad to have squashed your danish.

I immediately bought the Porsche trunk liners for both front an back... But needed a little more for the back. My wife recently bought this one for me: Trunk Organizer/Storage Bin - Lee Valley Tools

Works well to keep things from sliding around.

I hope no tequila was harmed during the maker of this post! As much as I would like to spring for the official Porsche liners, I find them marked up beyond anything that is reasonable to me. For the Frunk, I use a standard plastic bin that you get at target. Practically a custom fit and with the cover on, it's like an extra shelf. I modified it a bit to keep some standard items in and if I know I'm going to need more space, I just leave it in the garage. Not exactly what you're asking, but I find my utility runs can usually risk not having all my standard "security items" at arms length.

That said, here are two rear ones I'm considering: Trunk Organizers | Cargo Storage Totes | Car Trunk Organizer

This one is spendy, but I like certain aspects of it: ProGard Police Trunk Organizer for Impala or Charger

Good suggestions here! Thanks everyone. :)

Sub--the dealer did a pressure test which was fine, so the >1 gallon "loss" of coolant is being attributed to only a partial initial fill. Seems a little dubious, so now you know why I'm keeping water in the trunk.
