"Functions and display possibilities
A- Digital speedometer
B- Central display
C- Bottom display
Note
The available items and displays in the on-board
computer depend on the equipment of your vehi-
cle. For this reason it is possible that some of the
items and displays shown here are not available in
your on-board computer.
Basic setting
– Central display: .... Radio station
The central line B of the on-board computer can
be selected in the SET menu.
Calling on-board computer functions in
display “C”
f Push operating lever up or down
(selectionfield D must be switched off).
The following displays can be called step by step:
– Average speed (ømph),
– Average consumption (ømpg),
– Range on remaining fuel (mi ),
– Tire pressure
– Navigation information
(if activated in the SET menu).
Note
The values “Average speed”, “Average consump-
tion” and “Daily trip mileage” can be reset to zero
in the SET menu.
Switching selection field “D” on or off
f Push operating lever forward or back.
Arrow symbol “E” for continuation
Arrow symbol:
f Push operating lever down in order to page
through the menu.
Arrow symbol:
f Push operating lever up in order to page
through the menu. D- Selection field
E- Continuation arrow symbols"

Will not make as much sense without the graphics that go along with it so best to find the section and read it.

Thanks. How embarassing. I, who ask others to study the owner's manual, now learn the first option in the display is the average speed. AARRGH !!. I wondered what that was. But I didn't take time to look it up. How embarassing.

I wonder what other nifty features that I have not yet discovered. Now having been driving the car for 9K miles and a year. AARRGH !! Ed

 

Thanks for the clarification. I actually had read that section several times, but somehow must have read past the portion that said to have the selection function "D" off. Worked perfect after I understood that.
