Guys,
I have been getting the subject message off and on for over a year. I shut down the engine and the problem disappears for a day or two and then pops back up. I'm totally shocked how little info there is on the web concerning this issue. Anyone with the same issues? If the answer is replace the headlights, that's not going to happen.

I assume this is with PDLS. Do the lights appear to steer correctly?

If you had other weird issues, I'd think maybe the battery, but if this is the only one, then maybe not. I would get the occasional heated steering wheel fault (I don't even have the option), and some other goofy fault for about a year before I replaced the battery.

This is for PDLS. The headlights follow the steering wheel until the fault occurs and then they become stationary. Not that much of a problem but evidently the default has them pointed up because when that occurs oncoming cars flash their headlights at me. Strangely, the fault almost always occurs in the first half mile of driving and when I'm turning. Especially happens on bright beams. Battery is at least several years old but it seems pretty strong.
