Hey I have the same code but have no idea where to look for these connections. I have 986. 3.6L so has 996 induction. No cel, but I scanned with my durametric and caught it. P0660. There is literally nothing on the net as to where these are. Thanks in advance.
Anyone wanna help a poor guy out? Any pictures or diagrams would be greatly appreciated. To this end, the conversion to a 3.6 wasn't cheap despite me being under impression it would be largely plug and play.
This was okay because initially, the throttle response was super crisp and I was very happy. I have Durametric and I am running the Softronic tune specifically for the conversion. Of note, we had to go back and tweak tune because the car lives in the mountains at 7500'. Scott, says once the tune is in the ecu, it cannot escape.
However about a week after we had things dialed in, I had the induction air tube disconnect from the TB when I was driving and from that point forward, the car simply didn't feel as crisp or responsive.
I had the ability to reload the tune as often as I wished--but this has now changed because Scott no longer supports the tune as a stand alone file on my computer. I checked MAF, checked anything that could have come unplugged, cleaned TB and since then (2yrs later 10K miles, changed plugs and coil packs. The car still feels soft and the motor was a low mileage 3.6 with compression tests provide (and verified) that were excellent. It burns no oil nor coolant. When I go to blip, throttle, it is lazy. It almost seems as though we lost the altitude tune or that there is something like the P0660 which I only saw this weekend--so I have no idea how long it has been there. The car idles perfectly and RPM's drop once warm like they should. I am at a loss.
Where would one go to compare loggings of all engine parameters to compare to an optimally running 3.6? I only know some basics.
