Hello all,
I was recently greeted with an "Oil Pressure Monitoring Failure" message upon startup that hasn't gone away. It looks like this is most likely caused by a faulty oil pressure sensor, so I've ordered a replacement part, but haven't been able to find any install instructions. From what I can tell, the sensor is located on the top side of 997 engines near the oil filter housing and requires the removal of quite a bit of hardware removal. Is it in the same location (just rotated 180 degrees) in the Cayman? Or, it is perhaps near the oil filter housing on the underside of the engine? I'm hoping that I can DIY this without having to partially drop the engine.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.
