Hi everyone I need assistance in fixing my day time running light however after searching for hours everywhere for some reason no one specifically shows you how to replace or diagnose issues with the DRL which is weird considering wouldn't everyone's DRL eventually need to be replaced after going out? Anyways I do not want to spend $255 an hour for a dealership to diagnose the problem so any advice will help a lot!

The passenger side DRL began to turn on and off randomly. Until finally it stopped working. I received a message to check it on my dashboard as well. Can anyone give instructions on how to remove the cover to access the bulb itself, the type of bulb needed, or have any suggestions on what the problem could be considering it seems like the wiring is bad and not the bulb itself. This is the type I have:

Have you looked at the shop manual?

I think being LEDs that these do not typically "burn out" unless the electronics behind the system gets cooked. For this reason, they are not "user maintained". Looks to be WM 947119 (REMOVING AND INSTALLING AUXILIARY HEADLIGHT) and requires removing the front apron.

You are correct! Thank you so much for the help. And this is exactly what I needed.
