High Flow Catalytic Converters

Greetings all:

I have my 2007 CS in the shop today due to CEL and it looks like I have 2 bad O2 sensors - as well as >2.5 PSI back pressure in the catalytic converters. Mechanic says that is somewhat high and may indicate the Cat is bad. Hopefully the new sensors will fix the CEL problem, but if not, can someone recommend good high flow replacement Cat Converter? I track the car aggressively with race exhaust and other upgrades, so improving flow int eh Cats would be nice.

Thanks in advance.

im not sure why you are worried about smog stuff in Texas but most aftermarket exhaust have high flow cats or sensor spacers with cats in them.

if i lived in texas i would get the full soul performance exhaust. the sound is amazing.

if you want a low cost solution just modify some spark plug defouler to clear the CEL, look it up on youtube. if you track the car you could get the softronic ecu tune and the ecu will ignore the post cat o2 sensors and he is a sponsor here.

good luck

Keeping in mind that at some point, state authorities are going to require that you submit the car to some form of emissions testing to continue it's registration. I can tell you, the Soul Performance Long Tube Street headers I put on my car (which include HJS 200 cell performance cats) delivered a significant performance improvement. Mated with my Carnewal GT Exhaust (which are mofified OEM mufflers) I have a drone free solution worth considering.
