Is here any good person who can share image of HDD for pcm 3.1 v 4.76 please? My HDD lost both partitions. I recovered some files but I did not success with partition recovery.
Thank you in advance
I can clone an image to another drive if that helps. I don’t have the skills to make the image available. If you send me an SSD and label I’m happy to help. PM if interested.

After hours/days of testing/searching I solved the problem. Clean HDD + create partitions + 4.76 update DVD. If anyone needs help contact me.
I'd be interested in what you found out and how you solved it. I've been following this thread as my 2014 Panamera GTS has the same issue of rebooting every 4.5 minutes. I cloned the drive to an SSD with a stand-alone cloner and was successful, but the new drive still has the same issue of rebooting. I think there were some bad partitions on the original disc because the cloner seemed to have errors (flashed at completion of cloning instead of solid light). I tried to view the files on the original disc but my windows PC won't recognize it, so I can't scan it to see if what partitions might be bad. What did you do to solve it?

My unit is without resets now. Just I am solving the problem with map update. During map update I get an error 1023 - Resource not found. It may be due to HDD problem but also may need activation again. I will let you know the result soon.

Good thought. I did some quick research and it does appear that SSDs are generally more heat tolerant than HDDs, but it's certainly something to keep in mind. I'm considering going and buying another drive, cloning the new one I just installed in the unit to that and keeping it as a backup.
jslo, do you have any pre-cloned 4.76 SSD drives or know where I can get one?

Sorry I didn't see you reply to my post back then. Just saw a notification today about this thread. Yes, I did make a backup image of the new SSD HD after everything was back up and running again. If the SSD dies, I will still be able to setup a new drive with good information.
Is it possible to get a copy of your update drive as mine has fried! I've tried everything and everything. Will pay. greggoldsack@gmail.com Thanks

Hello, I have PCM 3.1 v4.41. Have cloned HDD to SSD, but it still reboots each 30seconds to 1minute. Maybe you have that DVD iso so i can try to burn it on DVD-R or RW and try to fix PCM? :) will be happy if you email me to Renixeg@yahoo.com

I will try to pull out just partition 2. I am running clonezilla in a virtual machine shared with Ubuntu.....I am not sure if I can separate partition 2 from the rest of the image.

I am happy to write my entire drive to an SSD for you. My understanding is that there will be issues with the Navigation (which I believe is tied to your VIN). My car is a 2014 Panamera Turbo.
Larry,
please could you post the whole image and maybe give an update on single partition extract?
Google link has closed/expired.

Shawn. Not 100% following what you can share.. If you can clone, then you can clone to a USB and then maybe copy that image to google drive. My HDD is too fried to clone.
Not necessarily… I have a hard drive cloning device and can clone my HDD to your SSD.
