Hey all. I have an 07 base Cayman with the base (very) sound system. There were no rear speakers and have managed to put some in. Any ideas about the best way to route the wires up to the front door speaker which I will be replacing? I know wiring them together will drop the ohms but until I can afford a new head unit, tis my plan.

Hola, es super difícil instalar los parlantes atrás, hay que desarmar mucho atrás....yo cambié la radio por una de Ali express muy buena

Feliz con el cambio y el sonido mejoró mucho sin cambiar los parlantes, ademas ahora tengo Android auto y tb Apple car.
route the wiring under the center trim tunnel, the up and behind the radio controls, and tap in there. Probably your best bet.
Or if you remove the passenger seat you can likely do under the carpeting near the frame of the shifter area. I watched a reverse camera install that suggested this. Personally I think its too much work but some people prefer it to removing the center console and trim.
